We are an established company in the distribution of mobile and travel accessories with leadership presence in modern trade outlets.  We seek a dynamic and independent person to implement and manage our in-market merchandising strategies.

Job description:

The position reports to the Head of the Business unit and works in coordination with the sales team to implement and maintain merchandising best practices in customers’ outlets where our products are on sale so as to positively impact sales growth.

His territory shall be the whole of Peninsula Malaysia where our products are presently distributed.

Core responsibilities include:

  • Develop impactful planograms and POSMs to drive product and brand awareness
  • Ensure contemporariness of planograms and POSMs
  • Facilitate planogram compliance at customers stores
  • Manage the upkeep and cleanliness of merchandising units and POSM
  • Coordinate with Customers to implement merchandising program roll outs to their stores
  • Resolve merchandising related issues with Customers and their stores
  • Maintain up to date and accurate records of our merchandising units in the field
  • Manage inventory of merchandising accessories and POSM ensuring sufficiency and timeliness to meet Customers’ and own roll out plans

The prospective candidate should possess the following:

  • Merchandising and/or sales experience in FMCG products
  • Knowledgeable about display dynamics e.g. height, focus areas, unit location, etc
  • Minimum educational qualification is SPM
  • Age 25 to 45
  • Able to write and speak English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Ability in other languages or dialects would be an advantage
  • Possess own vehicle and valid driving licence
  • Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Powerpoint
